BSG2013 - 11th to 13th September 2013

We are delighted to announce that the Oxford Institute of Population Ageing at the University of Oxford will be hosting the British Society of Gerontology's 42nd Annual Conference.

The conference will take place from 11th to 13th September 2013 at Keble College, a Victorian setting with modern ensuite accommodation, beautiful gardens and a wide variety of meeting and social spaces.

For further information please refer to the website:
Details including registration, the programme and upcoming deadlines are outlined on the website.

The next deadline is that of submission of Symposia outlines by 1st of February 2013.

To ensure that this year's BSG2013 stimulates leading edge dialogue and captures the latest in ageing research, the process for developing the programme will  to firstly encourage submission of symposia chairs and outlines under the four sub-themes of the conference. Once these have been selected the titles will be included in the call for abstracts and some submitted papers may be allocated to the symposia following discussion with the Chairs.

We therefore ask you to please submit your symposium outlines  by 1st of February 2013.
On 20th February we will announce the titles of each symposium and open up the call for abstracts.

We welcome your ideas and most importantly your participation! Participation on every level is appreciated from both non-BSG as well as BSG members, students, emerging researchers, academics, professionals, members of NGOs and ageing institutions

Looking forward to hearing from you!
