Content on dementia

The UK Government has announced plans to train and recruit 1 million volunteer ‘Dementia Friends’ to provide help and support to people with dementia. This scheme is one of a range of measures to boost early diagnosis and to increase awareness and understanding of this condition.

To mark this UK Government drive we have highlighted below some recent content from across Emerald’s Health & Social Care Collection of journals on dementia and related conditions.

These papers help to raise awareness of the available research and practice issues involved in working with people with dementia.
