FSHI Book Prize 2012 - Winner


The BSA and the organising team for the Medical Sociology Group Annual Conference wish to extend warm congratulations to Nelly Oudshoorn, winner of the 2012 Foundation of Sociology of Health and Illness Book Prize.
Her winning book is Telecare Technologies and the Transformation of Healthcare.

The Foundation of Sociology of Health and Illness (FSHI) Book Prize of £1,000 is awarded annually each September to the author(s) or editor(s) of the book making the most significant contribution to medical sociology/sociology of health and illness and having been published over the three years preceding the 1st January of the year in which the award is made.

The prize was awarded at the BSA Medical Sociology Group Annual Conference dinner in  Leicester on Thursday, 6th September 2012.
