Childhoods Real and Imagined

Childhood and health researchers use a wide range of theories and methods. This new book reviews connections, contradictions and combinations between them. It sets out twelve basic ideas in critical realism that can increase our research understanding of children’s real bodies and their interpersonal relations within social structures.

The book launch seminar is on Monday 20th May at 3.00 p.m. followed by drinks at 5.00 p.m., in the Elvin Hall, Institute of Education, University of London, Bedford Way, London WC1.

Speakers include Roy Bhaskar, Alan Norrie, David Oswell and the author.
