Postgraduate Taught Programmes in Ageing

This programme offers training at the cutting edge of research into ageing and later life, through taught modules and original research. Students draw on a wide range of expertise, including geriatricians, clinicians, demographers, policy analysts and sociologists, to gain awareness of cross-national and national perspectives on ageing and the lives of older people.

This unique programme offers the opportunity for students with an interest in government, NGOs, politics, policy, the voluntary sector, development work and comparative studies to develop specialist understanding of policy and policy making for old age and ageing populations.

This programme is designed for social scientists who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of the experience of ageing, ageing societies and policies for an ageing world.
