The eighth annual conference of the Methodological Innovations Research Centre at Plymouth University will take place on the 4th-5th December 2013. 

Methodological Innovations 2013 is an interdisciplinary conference focusing on methods and methodology, attracting a diverse audience of researchers and educators from the academic, public, private and third sector and many different research disciplines.

It offers a unique opportunity to debate current and future issues of relevance, with delegates drawn from different disciplines and professional areas.

Dr Sin Yi Cheung, Cardiff University
Themes:

• New technologies in qualitative and quantitative research
• Issues of ethics
• Making research count
• Researcher-respondent relationships
• Issues/methods of data analysis
• Reflexivity and challenges in research
• New research agendas in teaching and learning
• Open stream

To present a paper you will need to submit an abstract (250 words) and biography (50 words) by Friday 25th October to methods2013@plymouth.ac.uk. We welcome contributions from academic, practitioner and postgraduate communities. 

Fees

The total cost of the event is £85 - discounts are available (£50 for postgraduate students and unwaged deligates). This fee includes refreshments on both days.
