International Conference Travel Grants

The Foundation has an award scheme to support post-graduate students and early career researchers to present or co-present a medical sociology / sociology of health and illness paper at an appropriate international conference outside the UK. We will provide funding for registration, standard accommodation and travel costs up to a maximum of £900 to present at the XVIII ISA World Congress of Sociology Conference in Japan, 13-19 July 2014 or £600 to present at another international conference.  The approval of funds is dependent on the results a review process undertaken by the Trustees.
